Frequently Asked Questions

How long have you been shooting weddings?

I have been shooting weddings since 2014 and have loved every second of it, and I will love every second of yours, guaranteed. I was honoured to be named one of Canada’s Top 30 Under 30 Wedding Photographers by Canada Photo Convention in 2016. You can check that out here.

What can we expect to pay for wedding photography?
Wedding photography coverage starts at $4000. Please contact me here for a more detailed price list! I would LOVE to hear more about what you have planned for your wedding!

How would you describe your photography style?
I take a very laid-back and journalistic/authentic approach to weddings. My main goal is to tell the story of your wedding day from beginning to end. I want to show you fleeting moments, and the moments that you may have missed of the people you care about most in the world. I do this through creative use of composition and light and shadow; I am completely obsessed with the way light can alter the perspective and emotional impact of a photo. If you haven’t already, check out my portfolio to see if you connect with my shooting style!

We have heard you can make a mean slideshow; can we see one?

Heck yes, you can! You can view a wedding highlights video here.

Do you charge for travel or accomodation?
Accommodation and travel fees may apply for weddings over 80km outside of Vancouver. I also provide custom quotes for destination weddings and elopements. Please contact me for more information on destination and elopement wedding photography!

Can you tell us some fun facts about you?

I thought you’d never ask!! My favourite thing to do is take photos of humans in/on or around mountains and pine tree forests. When I “grow up”, I want to live in a treehouse lit by string lights in the middle of a mossy forest. I get wildly excited when I see or even hear the word “canoe” or “paddle”, and truly believe that almost anything can be solved by a good nap in a great hammock. I have a tent named Lola, and she’s pretty rad. Also, dogs are the best, especially when they are named after elements of space (i.e. Nebula or Soleil). But MOST OF ALL I like adventures. Big ones, little ones, and the moments that happen in between. SO; let’s go on one and get to know each other!
